About Randy
Randy is looking for a foster to adopt home. We can assist you through the fostering application process.
Randy requires the following in his new home.:
- A secure fence, in structure and height.
- To be inside with his people and supervised while outside.
- To live an active life.
- To receive continued training.
- A crate for unsupervised indoor time.
- To be the only pet in the home.
Randy is super friendly to everyone he meets and will expect belly rubs and affection as soon as he meets you. He loves spending time with his people and will happily follow them around while they are doing busy human things and he likes his people home often.
Randy is confident, adventurous and outgoing, and this leads him to look for action when he is left on his own and he will attempt to get out of the yard, he needs supervision while outside and he does best spending time in his crate when he is left for short periods times. He will need a yard that is very secure in structure and 6 ft high, he just loves to explore.
He would love to be taken on adventures, hikes and lots of outdoor time (with his people). Once Randy’s physical needs are met, he is very happy to cuddle up on the couch. His lead manners have improved but will need further training, advice, and support can be given by a trainer.
Randy needs to be the only dog in the home.
Randy is doing well with toileting outside but he may regress in a new home, close supervision and regularly taken outside will help him learn where to go. When he can't be supervised inside, he will happy have a sleep in his crate, this will also ensure he doesn't find mischief.
Randy can alert bark when someone arrives or something interesting is happening, he will stop when told and will come running over to meet visitors for pats.
Randy hasn’t received much training before coming to us, he is looking for a new family who has experience with training manners, he will need consistency. Advice and support from a trainer can be given.
Randy weighs about 9 kg.

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy.
