Lucky Requires the following in her new home:

- To be an only dog living in the home.
- Her people home more often than not.
- To be inside when her people are home to be able to follow them around.
- A securely fenced yard.

Meet Lucky – a gentle soul looking for her forever home 🐾

Lucky is a beautiful, calm and affectionate girl with the sweetest nature. She is very submissive and loves meeting new people — often greeting them by happily rolling onto her back for a belly rub. She has a quiet, loving presence and quickly wins hearts wherever she goes.

Lucky enjoys going for walks but prefers a relaxed, short stroll rather than long or energetic outings. She walks calmly beside you and responds best to gentle guidance. She knows to sit before crossing the road and happily resumes walking on command. On walks, Lucky is not reactive to other dogs and on walks shows very little interest in rabbits, birds or cats. If she does become distracted, a simple “leave it” brings her straight back on track — even when passing barking dogs.
She is a true people-dog and loves staying close to her humans, following them around throughout the day just to be near them. Lucky has been wonderful around a 12-year-old child and has been very friendly and affectionate with visiting tradies during renovations, charming everyone she meets.

Lucky loves car rides and will jump up into the car if the door is open. She will sit before receiving food, but will raid a bin if there is an opportunity. She loves a bath and a brush,

Lucky is fully house trained and settles beautifully at night, happy to sleep beside your bed or quietly in the hallway nearby.
She is not a high-energy dog and would much rather enjoy cuddles and companionship than games of chase or fetch. She would be perfectly suited to a calm home where she can be someone’s loyal shadow.

Lucky can have a sensitive tummy with certain foods. When this happens, a simple diet of dry food with cooked rice and pumpkin settles her well. She is currently eating dry dog food with minced chicken carcass, rice and veggies.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who will offer endless love and quiet companionship, Lucky could be the perfect addition to your family.

Lucky has been living with outside cats and leaves them alone, but she would need slow supervised introductions with cats living in the home.

Lucky is 35 kg and is medium to large in size
