Meet Poppy 🌸

Poppy is a beautiful 7 year old, 2kg, Yorkie with the sweetest nature and a heart full of love. She’s had a few changes in her life, but despite that, she remains a gentle, affectionate little girl who truly adores human companionship.

Poppy doesn’t cope well being left alone for long hours and is happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time. She loves simply being near her people, whether that’s snoozing on the lounge, curling up on the bed, or following you from room to room.

She has shown no excessive barking while in care and is well suited to apartment living. Poppy is also known to be an escape artist, so a secure home and mindful owners will be important to keep her safe. (Apartment living is preferred)

Poppy would prefer to be the only dog, as she’s not a big fan of other dogs. She does like children but would be best suited to older, calmer kids who understand gentle handling and respect her space.

When it comes to food, Poppy is not fussed at all she’s easygoing and far more interested in affection than treats. Sweet, cuddly, and loyal, Poppy is looking for a calm, committed forever home where she can feel safe, included, and truly loved.
