About Ivy - On Trial in Her New Home!
Ivy is everything you could ever want in a cat! she's calm but playful, incredibly affectionate, stunning to look at and so soft to pat. She loves nothing more than curling up on a warm lap for a snooze or a long pat. Ivy was found as a stray without a microchip and while efforts were made to find her home, no one came forward to collect her. It astounds me how someone could lose such a divine cat and not miss her enough to go looking for her. When she arrived in care, it was clear that she'd spent a bit of time on the street, and in the sun. Her ears were burnt and her claws where full of dirt. After an extensive vet check we are happy that there is no permanent damage to her ears, and while she doesn't have the best hearing of any cat i've met, she is not deaf as is common in white cats and hears well enough for it not to be an issue or concern. Ivy will only be available to a strictly indoor only home. If she were to continue to spend time outside there is little doubt that she would develop cancer. Because of her calm, quiet, nature ivy would be best suited to an adult home, or a home with teenagers rather than young children. I honestly cannot express how lucky ivy's new family will be to have such a loving, affectionate, beautiful girl in their home
