About Echo
Meet Echo - Located in Perth
Echo is a gentle, people-loving girl with kind eyes and the most expressive ears. She has a lovely balance of enthusiasm and calm, and she connects quickly with those around her, especially her humans.
In foster care, Echo has shown beautiful manners with other animals. She is getting along well with two Cavalier dog friends, greeting them politely, sitting quietly during introductions and then happily moving around them with gentle play and the occasional lick. She has also been very respectful with two adult male cats who are used to dogs. Echo approaches them with a wagging tail, checks them out calmly, and then walks away if they are not interested. Her social awareness is a real strength.
Echo adores close contact and would happily be a lap companion, soaking up cuddles and hugs. While she may have some Kelpie influence, she is expected to grow into a medium sized dog with a sweet, affectionate nature.
She would suit a home with children, dogs, cats, or a mix of all three. Being in foster care means she is already being socialised with a variety of people, young adults, dogs and cats, giving us a great understanding of her personality and needs.
Echo is currently living in foster care with a loving family. SAFE does not have a shelter you can visit, but that does not stop you from adopting. If you would like to meet Echo, simply submit an adoption application and we can easily arrange a meet and greet.
Echo is ready to share her gentle heart with a family who enjoys closeness, kindness and a dog who truly loves being part of everyday life.

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
