About Forrest
A gentle survivor ready for his safe, forever home
Forrest is the kind of cat who makes you believe in second chances.
Found on the streets in rough shape, Forrest had clearly been doing it tough. He was battered, exhausted, and suffering from a severe bite abscess on his cheek that required urgent veterinary care.
Forrest received the treatment he needed and has made a beautiful recovery. His wounds have healed, and he’s now desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated all ready to leave street life behind for good.
Despite his past, Forrest is a sweet, affectionate boy who truly enjoys gentle company. He loves kind pats and quiet companionship, and you can see his confidence growing as he learns what safety feels like.
That said, Forrest is still a sensitive soul. Sudden movements or loud surprises can startle him, and he’ll need a home that understands he may be cautious at first. With patience, routine, and a calm approach, Forrest will continue to settle in and blossom into the loving companion he’s already showing he can be.
Forrest’s ideal home
• Indoor-only, safety is non-negotiable after what he’s been through
• A calm household with humans who move gently and let him set the pace
• Someone who’ll give him time to settle, build trust, and grow confident

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
