About Panda
Meet Panda,
If you’re looking for a calm, cuddly cat with a soft nature and an even softer lifestyle, Panda might be just your girl. She’s suitable for first-time owners and would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home where she can feel safe and settled. Panda is gentle and a little sensitive to loud noises, so a cosy hidey-hole bed will be right up her alley.
Panda is wonderfully affectionate and absolutely adores being picked up, carried, and snuggled. She’s a big fan of cheek scratches and booty pats, and after a good scratch session she’ll often roll over and show you her belly - clearly hoping you’ll keep going. She’s friendly, agreeable, and happy to soak up attention at her own relaxed pace.
Social and affectionate, Panda is also proudly lazy (in the best possible way). She has low energy, isn’t really into toys, and prefers lounging and watching the world go by. When it comes to food, she’s not fussy at all and will happily eat whatever is on offer.
Usually a very quiet cat, Panda does like to have a little chat with you at meal time, making dinner a shared event. She’s open to meeting children of any age and would make a lovely addition to a calm household looking for a sweet, easy going feline to share their days with.
Panda is not suitable to live with dogs - they scare her.
As for cats, Panda seems interested in making friends. We recommended anyone who has existing cats to do a slow and gradual introduction to give all cats the best chance at becoming friends.
We always encourage cats to be indoor cats. Panda has already experienced living on the streets and she enjoys being inside where she feels safe. If she is outside, it will increase her chances of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. As an inside cat she can live her best life possible.
Medical notes

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
