Marmalade is the kind of girl who reminds you that the best things are worth waiting for. 💛
She’s shy and timid at first, but underneath that cautious exterior is a truly sweet, gentle soul especially for a street-born cat who has seen a lot.
When Marmalade decides you’re safe, she’ll greet you with the most beautiful little hello: a soft nose-to-nose nudge, like a quiet promise that she’s trying. From there, she’ll let you pat her… on her terms. You may find yourself admiring her from a distance at first while she watches, learns, and slowly gathers the courage to come closer but once she trusts you, it feels like a privilege.
Marmalade came from a colony of around 40 cats and has been an incredible mother and protector. She’s never hissy or aggressive, no growling, no drama just a gentle girl learning that life can be safe.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
