About Socks
Would be best as only dog
Gentle and affectionate
Toilet-Trained
Open to meet families of all ages.
Socks is a super sweet affectionate pocket size pooch who loves to be close to his people and he’s hoping you could be one of them!
His loving nature and affectionate demeanour mean he could easily fit into any family dynamic.
In kennel he has shown signs of some slight anxiety, so to best meet his needs his ideal home would be one where someone is home often and can provide him with a consistent, safe and calm environment. In saying that he would do best as the only dog in the home where he can keep all cuddles and attention to himself.
He loves his food probably a little bit too much (he would benefit from a diet) but in his favour it just means there more of him to love (but seriously he should cut back) it also makes training a breeze, speaking of which he is toilet trained, knows sit and walks super well on lead.
Overall, he’s a smart, sensitive soul who loves a snack (not too many though he’s watching his figure).
No matter if you’re looking for a comfy couch potato who can offer you endless cuddles or a faithful companion to keep you company for all of life’s adventures then this might be the man for you.
Afterall everybody knows that you should always pack some extra Socks.
Medical notes

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
