Celeste is a gorgeous 1-year-old tabby girl with a stunning coat and soulful eyes that make her truly unforgettable.

Found as a stray, her early life taught her to be careful with her heart, and she can appear a little reserved at first, not because she isn't loving, but because she doesn't want to be hurt anymore. In the shelter, she sometimes wears what we jokingly call a "resting death stare," trying her best to look intimidating and brave in an unfamiliar world.

The truth is that once Celeste feels safe, that tough exterior melts away. She secretly adores chin and head scratches and leans right into them, purring softly as if to say, "Okay... you can stay." She enjoys quiet spaces where she can observe and relax, and with patience and gentle reassurance, her affectionate and sweet nature shines through.
