Hi, I am Dancer.

I am calm, confident, and quietly affectionate. Or at least I was quietly affectionate. Since my sibling Donner left, I have decided that I now rule the house. Fully. Queen mode has been activated and honestly, it suits me.

I used to be a little shy and reserved when my siblings were around, but now I am bold, curious, and absolutely certain that wherever you are is exactly where I should be too. I follow my people everywhere. Bathroom included. My favourite spot is the basin while you brush your teeth, just in case you forget I exist for even a second. I also love crawling between sheets, sleeping in freshly made beds, sitting on keyboards, and jumping straight into open books while you are trying to read.

Personal space is more of a suggestion really, so now I assume this is the standard of service. If you are there, I will be too. That said, I am polite enough not to complain if you close a door and leave me out. I will simply wait. Patiently. Regally.

I am very comfortable around dogs and share space easily with them. Slow introductions are always a good idea, but once that part is done, I am relaxed and unbothered. My foster brother tolerates my attempts to play, though I would not say he is my biggest fan. The family dog is clearly one of my loyal subjects. I occasionally allow him to play with me, but mostly I just let him exist in my kingdom.

I could happily live as an only pet or with other animals. Either way, I will adapt. And probably rule them all. I do not mind being picked up anymore and I enjoy cuddles, as long as they happen on my terms. I am ok with children but I do not seek them out. I am gentle and calm and I appreciate having my boundaries respected.

New people do not worry me. I am curious and relaxed, but I like to observe first and make my entrance when I feel ready.

Playtime is very important. Anything that moves is fair game. Toys, dog tails, imaginary specks in the air. When playtime is over, I like to be close by, watching, resting, or supervising whatever you are doing.

My litter habits are perfect. I use both automatic litter box and a standard litter tray like a professional and have absolutely no issues there. I am not a fussy eater, but I am also not greedy. Just sensible.
