About Starling
Starling ✨
Good things truly do come in small packages.
Starling is around 4 months old, though she’s famously petite and often mistaken for a much younger kitten. With her short, stumpy little legs, tiny head, and unique build, she has the most endearing run, charging around like a baby staffy with confidence far bigger than her body.
Her beautiful blue-green eyes sparkle with curiosity and mischief. Despite her small size, Starling is bold and fearless, completely comfortable with humans and unfazed by bigger, older cats. She loves to stir up her fellow kitten friends and isn’t afraid to throw her (very tiny) weight around like she runs the place.
Mealtime is one of Starling’s greatest joys. She loves her food so much that table manners go out the window, face fully in the bowl, glamour proudly abandoned.
She’s incredibly welcoming and begins purring the moment she sees you walk through the door. Starling is gentle and sweet-natured, never biting, scratching, or hissing. She’s fully litter trained and has the most innocent, heart-melting little meow, the kind that tugs at your heartstrings instantly.
Starling may be small for her age, but her personality is anything but. She’s a confident, affectionate little soul ready to charm her way straight into her forever home 💫🐾

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.
We appreciate your understanding.

Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
Thank you for helping us give these kittens the loving, social homes they deserve!
