About Aloha
Aloha is not only gorgeous looking, but she has a beautiful nature to match! She is a very friendly puppy whose tail never seems to stop wagging. Her happiness is infectious, and she is bound to put a smile on your face. Aloha loves to say hi to new people and make friends – her name really reflects her social nature. She is very responsive to her foster carer and loves to get pats and cuddles. Aloha enjoys bounding around the yard and house just enjoying life like a puppy should. She does find new loud noises a bit scary like the lawn mower so her new owners should be aware of this and build her confidence here. One of her favourite activities in the yard so far has been splashing around in the shell pool which is great on these hot days.
Aloha is going really well with her initial training in foster care. She is food motivated and responsive. She is responding to her name and making great progress with her toilet training and crate training. Aloha also responds quickly to verbal corrections to stop chewing something she shouldn’t be. Despite being an excited puppy, she only does minimal jumping up and is learning quickly.
Aloha loves the other dogs in her foster home. She is very confident in greeting new dogs and playing. The older dogs in her foster home make her listen though when they are not interested in her puppy antics, though a softer dog not used to being in this role may be too much of a push over for her. Aloha would love the opportunity in her new home to have playdates with similarly playful dogs who enjoy running around having fun. She will be a relatively active dog who will need daily exercise to keep her happy and healthy throughout her life.
Since Aloha is still a puppy, she will need new owners who are committed to her ongoing training. We want to see this gorgeous girl become a model canine citizen when she is an adult dog who is able to be included in their owner’s activities and live a fulfilled life. This will mean well considered exposure to the big wide world and quality mental stimulation. Aloha is already loving her puzzle feeders and Kong wobbler. She has just weighed in at 10.8kg and is expected to be a large dog when fully grown (30-40kg).
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Aloha. She can live with another friendly adult dog(s) who is already fully trained and ready to be a great role model for the new addition. Otherwise, she can live as an only dog with the usual training and guidance to build her independence away from her siblings. Aloha’s new homes should allow her inside to be with the family and she will need a warm comfy bed to sleep in at night. She is young enough to learn to live with dog savvy children or other types of pets with the appropriate training and supervision. This wonderful pup is going to make a wonderful addition to her lucky new home.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
