About Maude
107 days waiting for a new home and still waiting... Maude needs 'a soft place to land'. A home where she'll find comfort, support and patience from her new guardians. Please, could that be with you? We would like her to move on from her past and begin to fully trust again with just one or two people in her life. Maude is very generous with her love, responding with purrs almost immediately to show she's happy. When you stroke her coat gently and talk quietly to her, she loves this and will start to show her tummy.
Maude's fur colour and pattern is known as 'brown tabby' and white. She has short hair which makes her fur virtually maintenance free. Maude's coat had almost no colour when she arrived at an RSPCA shelter, and we're pleased to say that her fur is now thick and she has regained all her stripes and spots in the right places - just as a tabby should have! Some basic but extremely important needs for Maude:-
## A balanced diet of high-quality dry biscuits, wet food and fresh, cool water. Also regular vet visits.
## A non-negotiable indoor environment where she will feel safe and will come to no harm.
## A patient, loving adopter with a quiet household that will let Maude settle at her own pace.
## Maude could possibly live with gentle, older children (say 12 years plus). Younger children could frighten Maude. We are unaware of Maude's past history regarding other furry pets, however on her own could be best.
## Plenty of inside enrichment e.g. cat towers, toys, sunny windows and cozy spots. We would like her to be a cat again and enjoy fun and play.
## A quiet, temporary launch room will help Maude establish herself. She is quite shy.
