About Eleanor - 4 Year Old Dachshund
Eleanor (Ellie) is a bright, affectionate 4.5 -year-old Dachshund with a lovely balance of energy and calm. She’s very people-focused and enjoys being part of daily life - happy to join you for activities, then settle nearby in her own bed once she’s had her fill of adventure.
🌊 Ellie Loves:
• Chasing the hose and being around water.
• Big daily walks and getting out and about
• Treats (a great motivator!)
• A big, comfy bed to relax in.
• Her space after a dose of attention
🐶 Home & Lifestyle Needs:
• Ellie is best suited as an only dog
• She could potentially live with one calm, kind dog with slow, considered introductions. so a meet and greet will be best.
• She needs someone willing to be active with her each day and include her in their routine
• Would suit a home that values both exercise and quiet companionship
• Continued training, she responds well when she is rewarded but has a lot of room to grow training wise.
• She is a smart dog, and will require daily stimulation.
Ellie would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate, engaged little dog who enjoys an active lifestyle and relaxed evenings close by.
She’s ready to find a home where she can feel settled, loved, and truly part of the family.
She is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Her adoption fee is $800, and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms, and microchipped.
