About Eleven
Eleven is a sleek, stunning black girl with a soft, sensitive soul. She’s a shy kitty who is still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place, and she needs a calm, secure environment where she can truly relax and grow at her own pace. Loud or busy spaces can feel overwhelming for her, so she’s looking for a home that understands the beauty of taking things slowly.
With time and patience, Eleven begins to show glimpses of the beautiful companion she’s destined to become. She quietly observes, learns, and builds trust, and each small step forward is a big victory for this sweet girl. Her confidence blossoms best when she has guidance, which is why a confident, friendly feline companion is essential for her. Having another cat to look up to helps Eleven feel protected, reassured, and brave enough to explore the world around her.
Eleven would thrive in a home that offers her a safe retreat, gentle encouragement, and a loving heart willing to wait for her trust. In return, you’ll have the privilege of watching her transform, from a shy, reserved kitten into a loyal, affectionate companion who feels secure enough to share her love. Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
