About Hero
š¾ Meet Hero š¾
Hero may be small, but his personality is already shining through. This sweet boy is curious, affectionate and loves being close to his people. He enjoys exploring his surroundings, playing with his siblings, and then curling up for a well-earned nap.
Hero is currently in foster care with a loving family, which means we are getting to know his personality, confidence levels and everyday needs in a real home environment. This helps us set him up for the best possible match.
As a puppy, Hero is still learning all the important life skills. He will benefit from gentle guidance, routine, continued socialisation and positive training as he grows.
š¶ What you need to know about Hero
Friendly, playful and people-focused
Learning about the world one day at a time
Will thrive in a home ready for puppy energy and learning
Hero can be met easily by submitting an adoption application. Once received, we can arrange a meet and greet with his foster carer so you can spend time together and see if he is the right fit for your home.
SAFE is a foster-based rescue. We do not have a shelter you can visit, but that does not stop you from adopting. Our foster model means we truly understand each animalās needs and personality.
If you think Hero could be the right addition to your home, we would love to hear from you š

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to Perth.
4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
NOTES:
Adoption fee includes vet check, first vaccination*, flea and worm treatment, microchipping and sterilisation at a SAFE approved vet at 6 months of age.
*Puppies and dogs may require further vaccination(s) to complete the full vaccination course. This will be at the cost of the new owner and is not included in the adoption fee.
