About Fire
Meet Fire — the sweet, playful pup with big ears and a big heart.
Fire is a sweet, happy and relatively calm puppy for her age. At just 5 months old, she is still learning about the world. She’s on the smaller side right now and hasn’t quite grown into her adorable big ears yet!
Fire loves human company and enjoys spending time with doggy friends. True to her breed, she’s an active girl who loves to run, play and explore, and then will happily curl up and sleep at your feet to recharge.
⭐ PERFECT HOME
Fire will need:
ongoing, consistent training
reassurance and patient support in new environments
regular outdoor activity and engagement
She can be a little worried when faced with new situations, people or dogs, so a calm and understanding home will help her confidence grow. With love, kindness and involvement in daily life, she’ll return it in cuddles, loyalty and wonderful companionship.
***She will benefit from a friendly, confident dog companion to play with and help guide her.***
💛 ABOUT FIRE
Fire is a sweet-natured Cattle Dog puppy who has become best friends with the older resident Kelpie in her foster home. Her gentle nature and desire to please make her a lovely little companion.
She likes to know where you are and will often check in with you or sleep by your feet. In familiar surroundings she is confident, but new outdoor experiences — especially strange people and unfamiliar dogs — can still be a bit scary for her.
🎓 TRAINING
Fire is doing brilliantly for her age. She currently:
knows her name and will come running
knows sit and down
is toilet trained
sleeps through the night in her crate
happily settles in her crate during the day
She loves her food, which makes training fun and rewarding. She responds well to gentle guidance and will thrive with continued training, mental stimulation and a family committed to helping her grow in confidence.
❤️ In summary
Fire will thrive in a home that:
includes her in daily life
gives her active outdoor adventures
offers patient guidance in new situations
ideally has another friendly dog
In return, she will form strong bonds with her family and grow into a loyal, loving and happy companion.
