About Ophelia and Dave
Meet Ophelia and Dave, an inseparable duo who fit together like yin and yang. Ophelia, a graceful Siamese cross, is the thoughtful dreamer of the pair, while Dave, her cheerful ginger best friend, is the life of the party. Together, they make the perfect team — playful, affectionate, and full of heart.
You’ll often find them chasing toys in perfect harmony or curled up together for a nighttime snuggle. Dave gives Ophelia the confidence she needs to relax and trust, while Ophelia reminds Dave to slow down and savour life’s softer moments. They balance each other beautifully, helping one another shine.
Both are absolute suckers for creamy treats and a warm patch of sunlight. Whether they’re playing, snoozing, or seeking affection, they do everything side by side — and they’re hoping to find a forever home where they can stay that way.
Ophelia and Dave are a bonded pair and will only be adopted together. Two hearts, one perfect match.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
