If youâre looking for a kitten who treats your living room like an Olympic obstacle course, meet Jemima! She is a bold, curious, and affectionate girl who believes life is one big adventure meant to be shared.
đ The Household Explorer
Jemima isn't one to sit on the sidelines. She wants to be in the middle of the action!
-Vertical Limits: Jemima is an expert climber. She has made it her personal mission to scale every piece of furniture she can find to get the best view of the room.
-Professional Player: Whether sheâs hunting toy mice or diving in and out of cardboard boxes, Jemimaâs energy is infectious.
-The Social Butterfly: Unlike some shy kittens, Jemima is quite confident. She warms up quickly to new faces and is ready to be your best friend as soon as you bring out the toys.
đŻââď¸ The Dynamic Duo
Jemima has a very special bond with her sibling, Cotton-Tail. You can often find them:
-Racing through the hallways together.
-Engaging in epic wrestling matches.
-Grooming each other before a long nap.
Note: If you are looking for two kittens, these two are a "match made in heaven"!
đ¤ Time to Recharge
Even the bravest explorers need a break. Once Jemima has successfully "conquered" the house, her soft side takes over:
She will seek out the nearest cozy lap or find you on the bed to curl up.
She is a world-class snuggler who loves to fall asleep right next to her favorite humans.
Jemimaâs Perfect Match: An active household that can provide plenty of climbing spots (like a tall cat tree!) and lots of interactive play. She would be happiest in a home with another playful cat, especially her best friend, Cotton-Tail!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberâs health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
