About Sassy & Molly
Meet Sassy and Molly, an inseparable pair of bonded sisters looking to bring twice the love and companionship into a new home. Molly, (black & white), is the more adventurous of the two, while Sassy, (torti & white), treads cautiously through life, displaying her endearing shyness. They rely on each other for comfort, reassurance, and playtime, showcasing a unique and heartwarming bond.
These sisters took about six weeks to settle into their foster home, which highlights the importance of patience and a calm and quiet environment. They particularly enjoy engaging in playtime, especially with string toys and small balls, that keep them active and playful.
Sassy and Molly would thrive in a home that offers a tranquil and routine lifestyle, providing them with the space to feel safe and comfortable. Because of Sassy's timid nature, a household without children or dogs is a must, allowing them to relax and adjust at their own pace. When they're not chasing toys or exploring gently, they'll be content soaking up the peaceful atmosphere of their home.
From their Foster Home
Sassy, unlike her sister Molly, she carefully considers everything before acting. For example, when you place a treat on the floor, she won’t pounce on it immediately like Molly. She first assesses whether it might be a trap, thinks it over, and then finally walks over to the treat.
The two girls seem more energetic at night, and they like to chase each other until they get tired. They only follow us when we are about to feed them; otherwise, if we walk close to them, they always run away.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
