About Liza
Long Legs, Big Heart, Ready to Love!
Liza is a gentle, doe‑eyed ex‑racer who has decided that the fast lane is wildly overrated. These days, she’s all about soft beds, slow mornings, and anyone willing to admire her elegant legs. She has that classic greyhound charm, calm, affectionate, and quietly goofy, the kind of dog who slips into your heart before you even realise it.
This lovely girl can be adopted together with her best friend Hugo, another greyhound who matches her sweet, easygoing nature. They make a beautiful pair. If she’s adopted without him, Liza can be adopted with another medium to large dog who is confident and playful. She’s not suitable for homes with cats, but she’s wonderfully gentle with children and happy to soak up their attention.
Like many greyhounds, Liza has a few quirks that only make her more endearing. She’s frightened of thunderstorms and fireworks and will look to her humans for comfort when the sky gets noisy. She also has absolutely no recall, none, zero, not even a little, so she’ll need secure fencing and on‑lead adventures only. In return, she offers quiet companionship, soft snuggles, and the kind of soulful gaze that makes every day feel a little softer.
If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who brings grace, sweetness, and a touch of silliness to your home, Liza might be your perfect match. Whether she joins you solo or arrives paw‑in‑paw with Hugo, she’s ready to trade her racing days for a life filled with comfort, kindness, and a family who adores her.
