About Maggie - 16 Month Old Dachshund
Hi I’m Maggie, my foster mum would say I’m a sweet loving little girl.
I’ve come out of my shell quickly in foster care with her love and care. I thrive on playing with my foster mum, eating and chewing on toys. Typical for my breed I adore chasing balls and will bring them back to you. Some might say I’m obsessed (IYKYK). I also love going for walks and I’m a joy to take walking and walk well on lead. I know how to use doggy door and I’m doing really well with toilet training.
I’m sharing my space with cats, but do find it kind of temping to chase them and bark at them. I live with an older small dog and would love another small dog to play with.
I am excited to settle in with my forever family and promise to fill your home with so much love and cuddles.
Maggie Overview
* Enjoys snuggles and loves to chew on chewy toys. Food enthusiast, food loves her dinner.
* Likes to be on your lap being cuddled most of all.
* Toilet Training ongoing, will continued consistency and positive reinforcement in her new home.
* Maggie now lives with 2 cats and is slowly getting used to them but may be best for an home without cats unless you’re patient in slowly introducing them.
* She would love another active little dog to play with and would suit someone home more often than out.
* A yard to play in would be ideal otherwise I’d need a big walk daily.
* Children over 8 would be better I love kids but don’t like them in my face too much
Maggie is in foster care in Wyee NSW, and is available for adoption to NSW and ACT only, no flights. Her adoption fee is $1100, and she is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
