About Jack
Hi, my name is Jack-but my friends call me Jelly, because I wobble a little when I move. I'm a Jack Russell cross puppy with a neurological condition that affects my balance and coordination, but don't let that fool you-I'm a bright, friendly, confident pup with a completely normal mind and a big love for life.
When I first arrived in care, my tremors were more noticeable, but with time and support, my signs have greatly reduced. While there's no definitive diagnosis, vets believe my wobble is due to a congenital difference in how my brain or nerves developed. Infectious and liver-related causes have been ruled out.
Because of my condition, I'll need a home that can help keep me safe. This means no stairs, no balconies, no swimming, and no bones or hard chew toys that I could choke on or hurt myself with. I may need a little extra help with some activities, but I'm still very much a normal, happy puppy who loves people and enjoys life.
My adoption will be a Special Term Adoption, and my new family will need to continue my care with their regular veterinarian. Any future veterinary costs related to my condition won't be covered by RSPCA WA, but a full history can be shared with your vet.
If you're looking for a special little dog with a huge heart and you're ready to offer patience, understanding, and love, Jelly might be your perfect match
