If you’re looking for a kitten who is as curious as he is cuddly, meet Osprey. He is a gentle, inquisitive boy who loves to explore his world, as long as the soundtrack is right!
The Osprey Life
Osprey is the perfect balance of play and chill. He spends his mornings perfecting his wrestling moves with his favourite foster sister, Ducky, and his afternoons supervising the kitchen in case any snacks happen to fall his way. He is a truly gentle spirit who gets along famously with other cats and has been wonderful with children.
What Makes Him Special:
-The Sofa King: Once play-time is over, Osprey is a professional napper. He loves a long, deep snooze on the sofa, preferably tucked right up against his favorite human.
-Inquisitive Nature: He’s a little explorer! Osprey loves to watch what you’re doing and investigate new toys with a quiet, focused curiosity.
-Music Critic: Osprey is a kitten of culture. While he’s happy in a busy home, he has officially registered his protest against techno music—he’d much prefer a quiet afternoon or perhaps some low-key acoustic vibes!
-A Total Sweetheart: He has a calm, gentle energy that makes him a dream companion for families.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
