NOTE: You are unable to meet Hammy until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Hammy in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• I am a puppy, so I WILL bite, chew things, toilet inside, bark & cry and be destructive. It is up to you to train these behaviors out of me. Please don't apply for me if you are not willing to put in the effort to train me to grow up to be a well behaved and social dog.
• I LOVE other dogs but I'm a very energetic and playful dog, so I need a doggy playmate who will match my energy levels and playfulness.
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• I have a high prey drive so I can't go to a home that already has cats, rabbits/guinea pigs or chickens/ducks as I will chase them
• No young children as when I'm excited, I get very bouncy and mouthy, older children who will be involved with my training should be ok.
• A family who promises to keep me well-groomed and brush me regularly so I'm always looking and feeling my best
• Lots of love and attention
• I am a clever, young and active doggo - I would be great for dog training, trick training, agility etc.
• Being an active breed, I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
• Large breed experience is a MUST; I am going to be big when full grown!!
• Being a young puppy, I will adapt & learn easily, how I mature will only be a reflection of you & my upbringing

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I LOVE toys, playing fetch and a game of tug-o-war
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I will require full basic training as I've had no training experience yet
• I can sometimes to be quite vocal at times when left alone if I'm bored - a family who has a lot of time for me, allow me indoors and leave me with lots of mental enrichment when home alone is recommended
• I've only just learnt to walk on the lead since being at the shelter so I'm still a bit erratic but lots of walks will help me learn how to be great on the lead.
• As I have not been allowed inside before I am not housetrained yet
