Meet Makala, a playful, affectionate pup who’s just a little smaller than her sister, May. She’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of splashes to her loving family.

Personality & Play
• Loves to play alongside her sister and foster siblings.
• A curious helper in the garden – he thinks trimming plants is her job, though she’s learning that’s not allowed!
• Absolutely adores water – whether it’s splashing in her water bowl or enjoying safe beach trips.
• Gentle and affectionate, with a goofy streak that makes everyone smile.

Training & Skills
• Crate trained – she settles in at night with her sister and sleeps through peacefully.
• Toilet training is going well, with only the occasional slip.
• Learning the basics of lead walking and eager to please.
• Picks up new tricks quickly, especially when treats are involved.

Adventures & Fun
• Loves car rides and exploring new places.
• Enjoys safe beach outings, especially when carried out to low tide to avoid pesky bugs.

Family Life
• Great with kids aged 5 and older – she thrives on their energy and affection.
• Loves being part of the family and will happily snuggle up after playtime.
• Mostly an indoor pup due to the hot weather, but she’s happiest wherever her people are.

Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
