About Charlie
Meet Charlie 🐾
Charlie is a seriously handsome boy — a grey little lion with a long, fluffy coat, striking green eyes, and those big, regal paws that make him look even more majestic. He does leave behind a few fluff balls thanks to that luxurious coat, so regular brushing will be part of his routine (he helps by being a very diligent self-groomer).
Charlie came from a stressful previous home and has been on suplements to assist with anxiety & urinary issues. Since moving into a calm, loving foster environment, he’s relaxed beautifully and no longer needs anxiety supplements at all. He’s now just on one very easy daily UTI pill (crushed into his food once a day — no fuss!) and eats UTI-specific food that’s readily available at the supermarket.
When food is involved, Charlie truly shines. He does the biggest, most enthusiastic head bops you’ve ever seen — the kind that could almost rearrange the furniture. He’s a champion purrer and shows his affection by making biscuits on your leg when he’s happy.
In new spaces, Charlie can be a little shy at first. He loves to burrow under the duvet or tuck himself under the bed while he settles in. Once he feels safe, though, he gains confidence quickly and becomes a relaxed lounger who enjoys being part of the household.
Charlie isn’t overly toy-motivated, but he does have one weakness: hair ties and rubber bands (which he adores). He’s lived happily alongside another foster cat, greeting them with sweet nose boops in the hallway. He does love his food and eats quickly, so if he’s sharing space with another cat, he’ll just need supervised mealtimes to stop him sneaking seconds.
Charlie has so much love to give and would thrive in a calm, patient home that lets him settle in at his own pace. Once he does, you’ll be rewarded with purrs, head bops, and a deeply affectionate companion.
