About Evy
Meet Evy – sweet, sensitive American Bully - and ready for her forever home.
About Evy: Evy is a young, petite girl who is toilet trained and confidently uses a dog door, making her easy to have in the home.
She is still a puppy, so she will happily chew things if they are left lying around and will need a family who can continue normal puppy‑proofing and provide plenty of appropriate chew toys.
Personality: Evy is a gentle, sensitive soul who can be quite anxious and unsure when new people come into her home or yard.
Her first response with strangers is usually to bark and back away until she has had time to assess them and feel safe, and once she knows someone, she relaxes and becomes more at ease.
Ideal Home: Evy is looking for a calm, patient home that understands her worries and will give her the time and space she needs to warm up to visitors.
Her perfect family will be happy to manage their environment (popping things out of puppy reach) and support her with gentle, positive experiences so her confidence can continue to grow.
Evy absolutely loves the company of other dogs.
She has a naturally submissive nature with canine friends, preferring to avoid conflict and follow rather than lead, which makes her a lovely companion for a friendly dog.

Medical notes
Evy has a grade 2 left sided systolic heart murmur, at this time there are no other clinical concerns and she is in good health. It is considered to be mild however ongoing monitoring by a vet may be required.

What does this mean?
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal will then take place. You must bring advise Waggy Tails if you are bringing your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption.
3. You will need to provide details of your dogs full vaccination status prior to bringing to the Sanctuary.
4. Waggy Tails does not offer trial period for puppies under the age of 6 months who are adopted out. Please ensure you are ready to adopt now. Waggy Tails will do their best to ensure you and your new dog are a good match.
3. Mircrochip transfer takes place after 7 days. Please note this may take up to 4 weeks dependent on microchip paperwork. If for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to Waggy Tails the Adoption fee may be refunded minus an admin fee (Minimum $500).
5. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work UNTIL date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current at their cost from date of adoption.
