About Snuggles - 1 Year Old Jack Russell
This handsome, happy 12 month-old Jack Russell is ready to find his forever home!
Snuggles is a sweet, gentle boy who, despite a rough start to life as an outside dog living in a pen of multiple dogs, has absolutely blossomed into a loving indoor companion.
Snuggles has made the most of indoor living. TV fascinates him, he likes to be tucked into his bed at night, and simply enjoys a snooze here and there on the couch. He does have a little sleep startle, but with time and patience, he should overcome. He will need full access to both indoor and outdoor spaces at all times. He is learning
the doggie door with ease. He does love indoor life, so he will probably spend most of day in.
Snuggles is currently sharing a home with a Chihuahua, another Jack Russell and a cat. He mostly enjoys their company but can be a little jealous when someone else is getting the attention.
Speaking of which, he loves cuddles, belly rubs, and toys. He is a short king, but what he lacks in stature , he makes up for in personality.
He has a big love for treats. He will run to you whenever he hears a plastic bag opening.
He's incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to his humans. Snuggles has been learning to walk on a leash and doing very well. He will need basic training. But hes a smart boy and learns fast. He has learned SIT for treats so far.
Snuggles would thrive in a home where his humans are home more often than not, as he truly loves companionship and being by your side. He loves helping his foster “mum” in the vege garden and following her just about everywhere she goes. He enjoys the doggie pool and sitting in the sun..

Snuggles is in foster care in Cessnock, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $800 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
