About Sunny
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CATS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE CATS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
Sunny is a 3 year and 10 months old pedigree Ragdoll with a gentle, affectionate nature and a strong love for human companionship. She is an indoor cat who absolutely adores people.
She was well loved by her previous owner but they sadly found themselves in the position where they could not longer give her the love she deserves so they made the tough decision to reach out to us to find her a new home.
She comes from a loving household and has a lot of love to give.
Sunny is very people-oriented and enjoys attention, pats, and being near those she trusts. She has a sweet and gentle temperament and is friendly with visitors. She is very vocal and often meows to communicate with her humans, whether seeking attention or just checking in. In new environments, she can be a little shy or cautious at first, but once she feels safe, she settles well and becomes relaxed and affectionate.
She adapts best with patience, reassurance and a calm routine.
Gorgeous little Sunny is sweet affectionate and incredibly loving. Unfortunately she is also a SUPER princess.
Not surprisingly, Sunny's foster family quickly fell in love and have been considering adopting her.
Unfortunately Princess Sunny has decided that she's not happy living in a household that has another cat stealing her humans attention. As a result and has started pooping and peeing inappropriately to let them know her displeasure.
When she's not being a little poopy pants, Sunny loves a pat and a cuddle, enjoys being picked up and smooched, loves to sit next to you on the couch and will happily curl up in bed and keep you warm at night.
She really is an incredibly loving bundle of joy.
She actually bonded quite strongly with the foster families daughter and became very cranky when the daughter went away for a week. Suuuuuuper princess haha.
As a long haired, fluffy little lady she also needs to be brushed regularly but she naturally enjoys the extra pampering :) She did however have a trim just before she was surrendered into our care to be rehomed so her fur is under control.
Princess Sonny ideally needs to go to a home with no other pets. She needs her own personal kingdom to rule over and her own personal human servants to spoil her rotten.
We would love to find her a home with a family who are around more often than not, and can spend excessive amounts of time giving this little princess all the love and attention she can handle. She would be a good fit for pretty much any pet free household, with the exception of a home that has young and noisy kids. Princesses do not like disruption.
Sonny is just under 4 years old and has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption now.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause you can find it by searching for Urban Feline Australia.
Otherwise please check out our social media to learn a bit more about what we do.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
