Crouton

Hi, I'm Crouton, and I'm a very special little terrier cross looking for my forever home. I came into care needing some extra TLC, but after lots of love and help from the wonderful humans here, I'm now ready to start my next chapter and live my very best life.

I've had a few medical challenges along the way, including ongoing issues with my left eye, which was removed to help me feel more comfortable. I've adjusted well and am learning to see the world a little differently, so I'll be looking for a home that's understanding and committed to supporting my ongoing care as I continue to settle in.

Even with everything I've been through, I'm a total cuddle bug who absolutely adores people. I love being close, handing out kisses, and following my humans around just to make sure I don't miss any fun. I'm a clever boy too and already know some great tricks like sit, paw shake, and drop - especially if there are treats involved, which I think should always be part of the deal.

I can be quite expressive when I'm feeling excited or overstimulated, so I do best with calm guidance and positive reinforcement to help me stay relaxed and comfortable. I may be able to share my home with another dog after a successful meet and greet, and I'm best suited to a home with secondary school-aged kids or older who can enjoy my playful side while also respecting my boundaries.

More than anything, I love spending time with my people. With patience, understanding, plenty of pats, and my favourite neck scratches, I'll reward you with endless affection and loyalty.
