About Rex!
Rex is a 12-month-old 29kg Rottweiler x Staffy with a stunning brindle coat and the softest, happiest smile. Sadly, Rex didn’t have the best start to life. He was heartbreakingly dumped outside the pound on New Year’s Day, left alone and confused, wondering what he did wrong.
Despite this, Rex has kept his gentle soul and loving nature.
Rex is very social and adores other dogs, especially friendly desexed female dogs he can play and bond with. He walks beautifully on lead, doesn’t jump up, isn’t overly vocal, and has a calm, placid temperament for his age.Indoors, he’s happy to relax and chill by your side, showing his independent yet affectionate personality.
Rex may not be suited to cats (he thinks they might be fun to chase), but he would thrive in a loving home where he can finally feel safe and wanted. He’s currently a little on the skinny side and would blossom with good food, care, and love.
Rex is incredibly deserving of a second chance and is so keen to leave the pound behind forever.
Adoption fee $450 includes desexing, microchipping, first vaccination, flea and worming treatment, and NSW registration.
Rex is ready to give his whole heart to the family who gives him his. 🐾💙

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
