Meet Spinach. Fun, and full of love.

Spinach is a happy, leggy lad with a shiny black coat and a big zest for life. He loves people of all ages, greets the world with enthusiasm, and settles quickly once the excitement wears off.

He’s built like a little athlete and now runs, plays, and chases balls with joy. Tug games, treat balls, and peanut butter are all firm favourites. When he’s not zooming around, he enjoys relaxing near his people, watching the world go by from the window, and sleeping soundly through the night on his own bed.

Spinach is house trained, uses a doggy door, knows his basic commands, and is very clever. He’s learning to walk nicely on lead, though he still gets excited when there are people or dogs to say hello to. He loves car rides and being included in family life.

Spinach had knee surgery when he was young and may need joint support later in life. He’s currently on 4CYTE, which SODR can continue to supply if needed.

Spinach would love to live with an active family including older children, with a good-sized back garden. He would do well with another dog for company, especially if he will be home alone during the day.
