About Coco
Koko is a 3 yo Chocolate Seal point Ragdoll whose owner has died. For 40 days Coco was home alone after her owner was admitted to hospital, with only the building manager stopping by to feed her. Coco’s owner was in their final hours, and their only wish was to say goodbye to Coco. Her foster carer didn’t hesitate, she rushed to the hospital ' Coco was taken to see her mum, who had been unresponsive all day. Coco gently lay on her chest, and shortly after, the Nursing Unit Manager shared that she began to respond to Coco’s presence. Not long after, she passed away - with her little pride and joy resting on her chest.
She has beautiful sky blue eyes that contrast against her dark brown face. Long silky hair with a woolly undercoat and a beautiful long plumbed tail.
Ragdolls are known to live a long life,
From current carer:
Coco is quite shy and takes a while to warm up to visitors. She's an independent lady who will happily entertain herself with ping-pong balls and string while you're away from home.
She's fastidious in her litter tray and her personal grooming, but her magnificent coat needs daily brushing to avoid hairball "gifts" (also a good anti-hairball dry food). She likes all kinds of wet cat food and appreciates a scratching pad. Coco isn't a lap cat but she's content to be near and will always accompany you to the bathroom!
Best suited to an adult home, or with older kids who respect her personal space and can read her "that's enough pats" signals. Her favourite yoga position is Happy Baby, on her back with 4 paws in the air.
If anyone can open their heart and home to Coco, you won't be disappointed.
