Meet Kenny - a resilient ginger boy ready for his forever home 🧡🐱

We don’t always know the full backstory of cats like Kenny, but what we do know is that he’s already used up a few of his nine lives, & is incredibly lucky to be here ✨

Kenny began life as a stray, charming a lovely older lady who fed him & eventually won his way indoors for couch snuggles 🛋️💛 When she was sadly no longer able to continue caring for him, Kenny found his way to us, giving him a third chance at finding a family to call his own 🐾

Kenny recently received a much-needed “summer haircut” due to severe matting ✂️ After it grows back in, he has a beautiful long ginger coat, which means he’ll need a home committed to weekly grooming to keep him comfortable & looking his best 🧡 He is still learning how to live life indoors & would be best suited to a home with a catio, where he can safely enjoy his surroundings while continuing to adjust 🌿

While Kenny is very affectionate, he is still learning how to live with people & will need a family who can read his signals & respect his boundaries 🤍 He is happy to be picked up once his trust has been earned & has previously been around small children.

Kenny can be shy & nervous with change, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes a truly sweet & smoochy boy 🥰 He seems to pick & choose which cats he likes - so to be sure of a successful adoption, Kenny as an only cat is preferred. His experience with dogs is unknown, so he would be best suited to a home where dogs can be kept in separate areas.

Kenny is a gentle soul who will thrive in a patient, understanding home & in return will reward his family with affection, loyalty & plenty of love 🧡🐱🐾
