About Chief - 3 Year Old Staffy
Chief is a 3-year-old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross with the sweetest, most affectionate nature. He is a true “man’s best friend” — a lap dog at heart who wants to be wherever his people are. Chief thrives on human companionship and loves being included in everyday life, whether that’s relaxing on the lounge, following you from room to room, or heading out together.
Chief is toilet trained, gentle with children, and happiest when he has a toy, a treat, or someone to cuddle. He is very toy- and treat-driven and especially loves his blankie, which he proudly carries everywhere as an emotional support item. This is one of his most endearing traits and shows just how loving and sensitive he is.
Chief enjoys playing tug-of-war, learning new tricks, and spending time with his humans. He knows sit and shake and is eager to learn more. He sleeps indoors on the lounge, settles well in the home, and does not destroy household items.
Chief is still learning to walk politely on the lead and is making steady progress. He can also show some excitement-based reactivity, which stems from anxiety and enthusiasm rather than aggression, and he continues to improve with guidance and consistency.
Chief would thrive in a calm, predictable home where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and ongoing training. While he would do best as an only pet at this stage, experienced homes willing to commit to slow, structured introductions may be considered. Secure fencing is required.
Chief is ready to find a forever home where he can truly settle and be cherished.
Chief is in foster care in Elermore Vale, NSW, and is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $600, and he is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
