About Boof - 2 Year Old Mastiff X
Who’s a handsome boy? Boof is of course.
He’s a clever and affectionate two year old Mastiff cross who’s as happy on a long walk as he is asleep at your feet.
He’s clever and keen to learn. Boof is housetrained, knows how to sit, shake hands and waits politely for his food. He is learning to stay and walk with a slack lead.
He’s very healthy and doesn’t seem to have any food allergies. He's okay with kids patting him when out walking - due to his size he would be best suited to kids over 5. He is untested but seems to be okay with cats and has not shown any interest in birds. Untested with pocket pets or other pets.
Boof shows no interest in chewing shoes or furniture. He’s okay with being at home alone but is happier when he’s got his family around him. Boof sleeps indoors, sometimes in his bed, more often on the couch. His foster home has a gate that stops him coming into the bedrooms and he’s fine with that.
He loves his rope pull toy in the yard and will stop when his foster family say, ‘enough’. He has toys in the house that he chews and brings back, and he has just started fetching a ball.
Boof will bark when certain people walk past the house – we haven’t worked out who deserves a bark and who doesn’t.
Boof’s ideal home is one with a loving family who will give him attention and walks and have space to run around.
Boof is in foster care in Merewether NSW. His adoption fee is $600, and he is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
