Drax

Hi, I'm Drax. Like my namesake from Guardians of the Galaxy, I'm loyal, strong at heart, and I take my role as part of the team very seriously. I may be a little older at 9 years young and, okay, a bit on the chunky side (more "dad bod hero" than action star), but that just means I'm built for cuddles rather than saving the galaxy.

I came into care through no fault of my own, and while change has given me a touch of anxiety, I'm really a calm, affectionate, and playful guy once I feel safe. I love being part of family life and am happiest when I can be close to my people, soaking up attention and giving plenty of love in return. Think of me as the quiet guardian who prefers quality time over chaos.

I could possibly live with another dog, as long as we have a successful meet and greet first to make sure we're a good match. I'd be best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children or older, where things are a little more predictable and gentle for me.
