About Granola
Meet Granola!
Granola is a delightful mix of cuddles and playfulness who loves nothing more than spending time with her favourite people. Whether she’s zooming around the backyard or perfecting her skills as a professional lapdog, she’s always eager to show off her loving, energetic personality.
Granola can be a little cautious when meeting new people and believes in a bit of “stranger danger,” but with patience and kindness she warms up quickly and becomes a very affectionate companion. She also loves to explore and put her nose to work, discovering all the exciting sniffs both at home and out in the world. She would likely make a great noseworks competitor if dog sports are your thing as she's highly motivated and engaged in training.
🏡 My Ideal Home
Granola’s ideal home would have a secure backyard in a quiet area, with plenty of space to explore and sniff. She enjoys going on walks and would love a family who enjoys playing and spending quality time with her. She would enjoy having a canine sibling, but she’ll be just as happy as the only dog as long as she gets lots of love and attention from her humans.
⚡ My Energy Level
Granola is a young dog with plenty of energy to burn. She loves running around the backyard and would benefit from daily walks and playtime. That said, she also has a wonderful off-switch and is perfectly content spending the day indoors, snoozing on her favourite bed or cuddling up with her people—especially when the weather isn’t ideal.
👧 My Suitability with Children
Granola hasn’t met children yet, but she would likely be best suited to a home with children aged 10 and over. She can sometimes jump up when excited, but with guidance she would otherwise have a lot of fun being part of an active family.
🐶 My Suitability with Other Pets
Granola loves being around and playing with other dogs. As she can lack confidence at times, she would do best with a confident, well-settled canine companion who can show her the ropes. She has not yet been tested with cats or other small pets.
Granola is a sweet, affectionate girl looking for a loving home where she can feel safe, have fun, and share lots of cuddles. 💛

Please use these links rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
