Meet Apollo , a gentle explorer finding his orbit 🌙

Apollo is a young male puppy who has been steadily growing in confidence and playfulness while in foster care with a loving family. Each day, he is learning more about his world and showing just how thoughtful and sweet natured he is.

Outside, Apollo enjoys spending time with his sisters, playing with toys and exploring together. Like his sister Apple, he has discovered the joy of the cool mist from the hose, which often sparks a burst of happy zoomies. Rolling in the sand is another favourite pastime, especially when it follows a good play session.

Inside the home, Apollo is becoming more confident with his surroundings. He enjoys gentle play with toys, quiet exploration, and sharing space with the resident cat. He is very patient and gentle, showing lovely manners and calm interactions. After playtime, Apollo is more than happy to settle in for a nap and has a strong appreciation for the comfort of air-conditioning.

Apollo sleeps well overnight in his crate and is making steady progress with toilet training. He is learning routines and building understanding, with consistency helping him move in the right direction.

There are a few important things to know about Apollo. While his confidence is growing, he prefers not to be alone and will often wait patiently at the back door to go inside if separated from people. Continued confidence building will help him learn that outside spaces can be just as enjoyable and safe as inside. With toilet training, Apollo currently prefers the pavement over the lawn, but with routine and gentle guidance, he is expected to continue improving.

Apollo has been a joy to foster, and watching him grow has been incredibly rewarding. With reassurance, routine, and continued training, he is likely to thrive and become a deeply connected companion in his new home.

Apollo is in foster care, which means we know his personality, habits, and needs well. SAFE is a foster-based rescue and does not have a shelter you can visit, but adopting is still easy. Simply submit an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet.
