Delilah

Hello, I am Delilah, and I like to take my time figuring the world out. I am observant and thoughtful, but once I feel comfortable my playful side really comes out.

I have only ever lived with my litter mates so other cats are still a bit of an unknown for me. With patience and gentle introductions I think I would do just fine. Dogs do not worry me, although I prefer to be the one who approaches first and decides when I am ready. I like to feel in control of new situations.

I would be very happy as an only pet. I enjoy having my own space just as much as shared time, and I am quite content entertaining myself when the mood strikes.

Children are not something I have much experience with, but I think I would cope well. I am currently in a playful bitey stage, so I would be best with people who understand kitten behaviour and can help guide me as I grow.

When new people visit, I can be a little skittish at first and might puff myself up to look extra brave. It does not take long for curiosity to win though, and after a short while I am usually ready to come over and investigate.

My favourite games involve my cat tunnel and my fishing rod toy. I love darting in and out of the tunnel and pouncing with great enthusiasm. My litter habits are excellent and I have no trouble using the tray, although I sometimes like to nap in it and I do have a talent for flinging sand around.

I do not have any behavioural concerns, just a big personality. When the zoomies hit, I turn into a tiny ambush expert, chasing my humans through the house, leaping out from corners and then racing away like nothing happened.

I am Delilah, a playful, independent kitten with a curious mind and plenty of character.
