ABOUT
Solace came into care at the end of October 2025 as a heavily pregnant stray. Within hours of arriving at her foster home, she gave birth to seven beautiful babies. Despite being extremely skinny herself, Solace gave everything she had to her kittens. Now that her babies have grown and moved on, she is finally able to focus on herself and is blossoming back into the playful young cat she truly is.
Solace absolutely adores attention and loves being close to her people. She will happily weave between your legs as you move around the house and softly chat to let you know she’s nearby. With the demands of motherhood behind her, she is discovering the joy of toys and playtime and is embracing her newfound freedom. At bedtime, she won’t be far away — often curling up on top of you or snuggling close beside you. She is the perfect companion for someone seeking a truly affectionate cat.
With access to endless high-quality food, Solace is steadily regaining her condition. Her coat is becoming beautifully shiny, and she sports a super-fluffy tail that she is clearly quite proud of. We expect her to fluff up even more as she reaches her ideal weight and condition.
Solace currently lives in a multi-cat foster home and does well with other cats following appropriate introductions. While she was initially unsure of the small dog in her foster home, now that her hormones have settled she has decided the dog is actually pretty cool.
This sweet young mumma has done her job and more, and she now deserves a loving home of her own. Solace will be a wonderful and affectionate addition to the right family.
