Meet Aslan, a majestic little lion-in-the-making who is ready to find his forever pride!
With paws and ears that hint at the big, fluffy boy he’s destined to become, Aslan is a sweet, curious soul looking for a gentle kingdom to call his own.
🐾 Personality: The Gentle Explorer
Aslan is the perfect blend of a solo explorer and a social companion. While he is perfectly happy investigating his surroundings on his own, he is incredibly accepting of other cats of all ages.
He has a very sweet and curious demeanour, though he is still finding his "bravery" when it comes to the big, noisy world. Aslan isn't a fan of loud machine noises, think outdoor yard appliances or heavy-duty cooking, and will politely excuse himself to a safe, quiet spot until the coast is clear. Once things calm down, his curiosity wins out and he’ll come back to see what he missed!
-Grooming: He is currently learning to be brushed. He doesn’t mind it, but he’s a busy boy with a lot on his to-do list, so sitting still is a work in progress!
-Beauty Sleep: He appreciates having a dedicated, quiet sanctuary where he can nap undisturbed.
🧸 Favourite Activities
Aslan is a gold medalist in independent play. He can entertain himself for hours with his toys! His signature move is picking up his absolute favorite toy in his mouth and carrying it off to his "den."
Special Note: Aslan’s favourite toy will be coming home with him, as they are a package deal!
❤️ Affection Level: Gentle & Sweet
Aslan is a fan of the finer things in life, specifically belly rubs. While he is learning to love human cuddles, he often finds it hard to settle down when there are so many exciting toys to pounce on!
He has a calm, curious nature and thrives on gentle affection. He isn't a "velcro" cat just yet, but his bond with his humans grows deeper every day as he learns to trust.
🏠 The Ideal Home
Aslan is looking for a quieter household where he can truly let his "main character" personality shine.
-Feline Friends: He would thrive as a solo king or easily integrate into a home with existing cats.
-Dogs & Kids: He has not yet been exposed to dogs or small children. Due to his dislike of loud noises, a home without high-energy toddlers or barking dogs would likely be his preference.
-Environment: A patient family who understands he might hide during vacuuming or lawn mowing will be his perfect match.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
