Meet Percy 💙

Percy is a loving, affectionate boy who thrives in a calm, gentle environment. He adores snuggles, enjoys soft smooches, and loves being close to his person once he feels safe. When Percy is especially content, he proudly makes extra special biscuits, sometimes complete with a little drool topping, his signature sign of happiness.

Percy was found as a stray, so his early life is a bit of a mystery, but it’s clear he experienced a lot of stress. Because of this, he’s searching for a quiet home without young children, as loud activity and sudden movements can be overwhelming. Percy will also need a safe, cozy space of his own.
A bed, hideaway, or quiet corner where he can curl up and relax whenever he needs.

Playtime can sometimes get a bit rough, so Percy will need a patient, committed adopter who is willing to continue positive play training and provide plenty of appropriate enrichment. He does best when he has enough stimulation to keep his mind and body engaged.

Percy has not yet interacted with dogs, but he would likely do well with a calm, gentle, cat-friendly dog. He has had brief interactions with another cat and showed a lot of interest, so he would likely be very happy with a feline companion. Whether through another pet or a human who is home more often than not, Percy will thrive with regular interaction and companionship to help prevent boredom and acting out.
