About Surf
Meet Surf, who goodest Kelpie boy going, who is affectionate, active, and full of fun.
This energetic little guy loves his humans just as much as he loves to play. His ideal day includes a WrestleMania-style “king of the ring” match with his siblings, followed by exploring the world with his foster humans, and finishing off with a cosy snuggle before bed. Plenty of pats are a must — they’re Surf’s favourite thing in the world.
This handsome boy is very clever and eager to learn. He’s working hard on his training and will happily sit for a pat without prompting. He’s also making great progress with waiting patiently for meals and responding to his name. Surf adores tummy tickles, pats, and snuggles, and enjoys being close to his humans. Curious by nature, he loves following them around and confidently exploring the yard both independently and with his siblings, but never strays too far from his beloved humans.
As a typical baby, Surf is still learning the ropes with toilet training and will need continued guidance, consistency, and patience. He sleeps through the night in his crate and has had no overnight accidents — a great start for a young pup.
Surf will grow into an active, loyal companion and would make a fantastic addition to an on-the-go family who loves including their dog in everyday life and adventures. He will need an experienced family that will continue his journey to become a well-balanced dog.
Surf is looking for an active, committed family who can provide plenty of mental and physical stimulation, welcome him into the family, include him in daily life and adventures, and, of course, have him inside the house. His new humans will need to continue his socialisation, confidence-building, and ongoing training to help him grow into the best dog he can be.
If Surf sounds like your perfect pup, please apply now and tell us about the loving home you can offer this happy, affectionate boy.
Surf is located in QLD.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
