About Pugsley
***The Nevermore Nook***
Hello. I am Pugsley, though my version is less chaos-for-chaos’ sake and more calculated mischief wrapped in blue kitten fluff. I may look innocent, but do not be fooled: I am always observing, always plotting, and always judging whether the two-legged staff member is performing their duties correctly. For example, if you stop patting me before I decide the task is complete, I will issue a small but pointed meow of disappointment. Consider it a formal notice.
When it’s playtime, I become intensely focused. Feather wand? Toy mouse? Invisible enemy only I can see? My face goes full “kitten on a mission.” No interruptions, no distractions - this is serious business. I play with purpose, precision, and a level of concentration that would make even Wednesday raise an eyebrow.
Now, let’s be clear: I do not require constant attention. I am far too refined for that. However, when I do want affection, I will approach you myself, release a short, polite meow, and gaze up at you expectantly. This is your cue. I am not a lap kitten by default, but on rare, special occasions I will choose your lap - and when that happens, you should feel deeply honoured.
I am also a great admirer of older cats, particularly the wise and patient resident cat Harry, whom I use for grooming assistance and as a premium nap pillow. He is warm, tolerant, and excellent company for plotting naps.
So if you’re looking for a kitten who is quietly quirky, selectively affectionate, delightfully serious about play, and just a little bit Addams-esque, then congratulations - you may have just met your future familiar.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
