About Morticia
***The Nevermore Nook***
Greetings, two-legged food bearer. I am Morticia, draped in black, dramatic by nature, and bringing a touch of Addams-approved chaos to your household. Do not be fooled by my elegant name or sleek exterior; beneath this gothic glamour beats the heart of a highly competitive athlete with a flair for the theatrical.
When it is time to play, I commit fully. The laser pointer is my nemesis, my muse, my red dot of doom. Once it appears, the world fades away. I become intensely focused, bowling over any kitten foolish enough to stand between me and my destiny. I also compete at an Olympic level in hallway sprints and cat-tower climbs, so please be prepared to witness feats of speed and agility that would make Uncle Fester proud.
In my quieter moments, you will often find me perched atop the tallest cat tower, surveying my domain like a tiny, dark overlord, deciding whether today’s activities are worth joining. I am also deeply invested in household mysteries, particularly why the two-legged food bearer is so obsessed with collecting my poop and putting it in a bag. I supervise every litter scoop closely. Attempts to remove me from the investigation will fail. I will simply return.
I am a social creature and will require another playful cat or kitten in my forever home to keep me entertained and properly exercised. I adore the resident cats here and believe they exist for companionship, playtime, and occasional body-checking during zoomies.
So if you’re seeking a sleek, fast, laser-obsessed little shadow with a dramatic flair and a love for feline company, then congratulations, you may be worthy of becoming my forever food bearer.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
