🌻🍝 MEET ZUZU 🍝🌻

Hi, I’m Zuzu! Like a lot of us after winter, I’m carrying a little extra weight, so my foster mum has put me on a diet, which I’m not too happy about! I miss eating with the other cats, or, more accurately, eating their food for them! I do love my food (a little too much, obviously), and boiled chicken is a particular favourite of mine.

Nature
I can be timid around strangers, but don’t worry, I’ll come to you when I’m ready. Once I’ve found my people and decided you’re worthy of my affection, I’ll happily sit right beside you on the sofa or bed. And if you’re really lucky, I might even start grooming you!

During the day, you’ll usually find me napping on my foster mum’s desk or a dining chair. When she works from home, I love “helping her out” by sleeping on her desk and occasionally trying to join her meetings. After all, someone has to keep an eye on things!

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I would need another cat as a companion, as I’m a pretty timid girl and having a confident feline friend would help me expand my world.

I haven’t met young children yet, so we don’t know how I’d feel about them.

I’ve heard and seen dogs from a distance but haven’t met one yet. I might be able to live with a cat-savvy dog, provided we’re introduced slowly and patiently.

Likes / Dislikes
I love my food, especially boiled chicken, and I enjoy finding cosy spots for daytime naps. I’m an expert at using the cat flap and think the garden is a wonderful playground, so I’d love access to outdoor space.

I’m not fond of visitors approaching me, as I prefer to make the first move when I’m ready. Loud noises and sudden movements can make me nervous, although, strangely enough, I don’t mind the vacuum cleaner being used near me!

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet one with another confident cat to help me feel safe, as I’m more cat-focused than human-focused, although I’m becoming more affectionate with my people. I’d love a home with outdoor space to explore and patient humans who will let me approach them in my own time.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

If you would like to apply to adopt Zuzu please come and meet her at PETstock Mandurah this Saturday from 10am until 2pm. She will be ready to go home with the first suitable family.
