About Warnie
🐾 Meet Warnie – A Heartwarming Companion
Breed: Jug (Pug x Wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier)
Date of Birth: 13 November 2023
Size: 15 kgs, but should be a little less
Location: Warwick, Queensland, but available for interstate adoption
Warnie is a delightful Jug (Pug x Wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier) born on 13 November 2023. Bursting with energy, fun and affection, he may seem a little standoffish at first and might bark when meeting new people, but give him a little time and he’ll soon win your heart and become a loyal, lifelong best friend.
This chap thrives on human company and is accustomed to having his family around most of the time. Whether he’s following you from room to room, enjoying a playful game, or curling up for a quiet snuggle, Warnie is happiest when he’s right in the middle of things. Smart and eager to please, he responds beautifully to positive, consistent training — though, true to his Jack Russell heritage, he may occasionally test boundaries with a cheeky, mischievous streak.
Warnie’s personality is a charming mix of affection, boldness and party-loving energy. He gets along well with other dogs, but due to his terrier prey drive, he’s best suited to homes without cats or small pocket pets. Small children may overwhelm him, but he is a perfect companion for older kids who engage with him gently.
Warnie’s ideal home offers a securely fenced yard to explore and owners who are around most of the time and can provide plenty of interactive play to channel his energy. Fully house-trained, he’s comfortable both indoors and out, and with the right family, Warnie will bring endless love, laughter and joyful energy into the home.
